Counting Game
Run a sequential counting game in a dedicated channel.
How it works
The counting game validates the next number in sequence and keeps the current run tied to the configured channel.
Before you start
- Create a dedicated counting channel.
- Tell members whether conversation is allowed there; unrelated messages can disrupt the game experience.
Configure it
- Open Counting Game in the dashboard.
- Select the dedicated channel and, with premium, choose whether the same member may count twice in succession and whether wrong messages are deleted.
- Save and post the first expected number from a normal member account.
Counting rules
- Only messages in the configured counting channel participate.
- The standard rule prevents the same member from posting two accepted numbers in succession.
- A valid message must be the exact next whole number in the sequence.
- Invalid attempts receive a reaction and an explanation; the last accepted number remains unchanged.
Expected result
- Correct whole numbers advance the shared count.
- A wrong number, non-number, or disallowed consecutive turn receives feedback and does not reset the current run.
Common errors
The count does not advance
Use plain numeric messages in the configured channel and verify the previous accepted number before retrying.
Saved changes do not take effect
Reload the feature page and confirm the saved values. Then verify that the selected Discord channel or role still exists and that Airwavy can access it.
Discord reports missing permissions
Check the permission on both the server role and the target channel. Channel overwrites and role hierarchy can deny an action even when the server-level permission is present.
