1. Storage We Use
- Authentication cookies (essential): set by our auth provider to keep signed-in sessions.
- Locale cookie (optional): used to remember selected website language.
- Theme preference (optional): your light/dark theme choice is only saved to browser local storage once you accept optional storage; it is then restored on future visits.
- Streamer mode preference (optional): stored in browser local storage.
- Dismissed site-notification tokens (optional): stored in browser local storage so dismissed notifications stay dismissed.
2. Consent Behavior
When you decline optional storage in our consent modal, or haven't made a choice yet, we don't save optional preferences: the language cookie, streamer mode, and dismissed-notification state are cleared and not persisted. Theme is handled the same way, with one difference for usability: without consent, the site follows your system/browser light-dark preference by default, and you can still switch themes for your current visit, but that choice is only kept in memory and is not saved to local storage, so it resets to the system preference on your next visit. Once you accept optional storage, your chosen theme is saved and restored automatically. Essential auth/session cookies may still be used when you log in.

You can manage cookies through our consent modal and your browser settings. Blocking essential auth cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
