David Santiago Blanco — Co-Owner & Core Engineer at Airwavy
Meet David Santiago Blanco, the Co-Owner behind Airwavy's core engineering. Discover the developer building the backbone of one of Discord's most reliable platforms.

About Me
I'm David Santiago Blanco, Co-Owner of Airwavy and the developer responsible for what most people never see — and honestly, that's fine by me. Based in Colombia, I've spent a good chunk of my time obsessing over systems that hold together under pressure, scale without drama, and don't wake anyone up at 3am with error alerts.
The Work
When you use Airwavy, you're interacting with something I helped architect from the inside out. My responsibility is the bot's core structure — how it thinks, how it reacts, how it manages to serve over a million users without breaking a sweat. The event pipelines, the command handling, the internal architecture that ties it all together — that's my side of the building.
Most people see the features. I see the foundation they're standing on.
The Motivation
I'm not drawn to building things that merely work — I want them to be genuinely solid. The kind of solid where you ship something and then go touch grass knowing it's not going to collapse the moment traffic spikes. Airwavy gave me exactly that kind of challenge at real scale, and being Co-Owner means I'm not just a contributor — I'm invested in every corner of this platform, technically and strategically.
