Why unstructured feedback gets lost
Without a dedicated system, community feedback ends up scattered across whatever channel someone happened to be in when the idea occurred to them — genuinely useful suggestions get buried under regular chat within minutes, and staff have no reliable way to track what's been considered.

How Airwavy's suggestions system works

- Premium can also accept eligible messages posted directly in a configured submission channel, routing approved or rejected ideas to their chosen destinations, and accepting text or up to four image attachments.
- Authorized staff can approve, reject, route, or delete a suggestion through the configured workflow; Premium review tools can surface highly or poorly rated ideas without making community voting an automatic moderation decision.
Set it up
- Create a suggestion channel where Airwavy can send messages and embeds.
- Decide who can view and discuss community submissions.
- Open Suggestions in the dashboard, choose the destination channel, and configure the available behaviour.
- On Premium: decide whether to also accept channel-based submissions, and configure any staff or suggester-identifying roles.
- Save and submit a test idea with /suggest to confirm the flow works end to end.
Common mistakes
- Not deciding on a review cadence — suggestions that never get an answer, even a 'not right now,' train members to stop submitting them.
- Making the review channel visible to everyone, which can pressure staff decisions socially instead of on merit.
- Deleting original channel submissions without documenting that behaviour first, if using Premium's channel-submission option.
- Treating community ratings as an automatic decision rather than one input among several for staff.
Troubleshooting
/suggest can't publish
Check that the destination channel still exists and grants Airwavy View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Attach Files when images are used.
A channel-based submission wasn't picked up
That's a Premium feature — confirm it's enabled and the submission channel is configured correctly.
Staff can't find the review controls
Confirm the configured staff role for suggestion review is assigned, and that the workflow (approve/reject/route/delete) is set up in the dashboard.
